Very cool VN! Got very good impression of Doug's and Michelle's situation. Plus, their family circumstances makes everything worse - this is very realistic. Very extreme transformation of Michelle's character! Can understand her feelings a bit, but her emotional dissociation of her humanity was far to cruel for my taste.
ATTENTION! (LITTLE SPOILER):
It made me so sad seeing Natalia and even more Max and Zoe 'disappearing' from history. I often ask myself if there were a much more lucky outcome possible if they've survived.
Is there a hope for an alternative ending in chapter 3?
like the other two, I am also here because of the latest Gigguk video. but this isn't about that. I'm here specifically to thank you for fighting back and continuing to create stories many desperately need to read. I want to do the same. thanks again. Farewell.
Firstly, Katawa Shoujo was probably the most inspirational and heartfelt visual novels that I've read in all of my 21 years on top of the already amazing story behind it, and your work on it with the rest of Four Leaf was second to none. I'm almost grateful to see you working on a visual novel again, and this one is just as amazing as I expected. I hope you're still working hard on Chapter 3 with the rest of Lucid A96, and look forward to its release! :)
It surely paints different narrative when you take the other point of view, huh? It all boils up (or was it crashing down-or or triggered-) to a wrecked-in-all-side-of-life character solving a possibly dozens to hundreds years of environmental/natural exploitation problem. An unexpected mix but delivered very well in Historia.
Curious of the different shot on the Epilogue in Chapter 1 vs Chapter 2, tho... Is the "start a new life" thing a friction of Michelle's mind before she fainted? Because, well, that is just damn sad.
Played the first chapter before this, while I do think this one paints Michelle differently, it felt like it came to the same conclusion as the first one. With her feeling extremely unhinged. I have to say hearing what I could only assume about her come from her own head made me significantly more uncomfortable than when I was viewing her world from Doug's perspective, so mission accomplished. Interested to see where this story goes in the future.
If I ever needed to tell somebody how it feels like to be lonely and misunderstood, I would definitely show them Michelle's POV. This story really makes us understand her character and motivation, and I loved every second of it.
Nice visuals, lovely story (I'm very satisfied with the end lol), and I loved the music too. I would recommend to everybody.^^
Ch1 was enjoyable, but the recontextualization of events in this part really brought the narrative to a whole new level. The art, music, effects, all of it is top notch stuff here too - no weak links. My only complaint is how often I had to get up and investigate the house thinking the in-game sounds were in real life lol
That was exactly the reaction I was looking for with the sound effects. I did want to put in some random samples of kid's footsteps in the background, but I couldn't get them to shut up for long enough. So you'll have to deal with realistic pancakes for now.

Getting error when I try to download.
"We can’t connect to the server at d21sxns3cqrq1.cloudfront.net."
Same here.
Damn, it looks so good, couldn't download it as well...
Hi All. I'm hoping that this responds to all of you.
The downloads should have been fixed now. My apologies
Works now, thank you so much!
May I ask - is there any chance we'll see a chapter 3 in the future (maybe with some cool changing that will turn the story to a better ending)?
Yes, there is a 3rd chapter coming. Hopefully around August.
Thanks for the comment!
And thank you for answering that fast. Then I'll wait for August with excitement. :)
Is there any status update for a sequel?
We are in play testing now and also working on final art.
Thanks four your answer.
Can you make any assumption of an ETA?
i enjoyed this

Here from Gigguk's latest video. Did not know someone from the original team was working on a new VN. Really excited to see how this pans out.
Will update this review after playing the game.
Oh cool, great to see that the plug kind of worked!
Now I just need to finish Ch3

Yes, still working. We had another baby this year which has slowed things down, but the development hell at LA96 is much more bearable.
good to hear! and congratulations <3
Hello all! For everyone that's played Chapter 2, I did a semi-deep dive into what exactly happened. LOTS of hidden information in this chapter!

this is so good, will there be a third chapter?
Yes, it's in the works
I played the first game just now. I can't wait to play the second one.
Here's hoping the second one makes things more confusing for you!
Michelle did not disappoint. Unbound and unhinged, cower before her power!

Loved it! Always wanted to see the story from Michelle's perspective.
